DUI checkpoints yield 2 arrests in Thousand Oaks

Two people were arrested at two checkpoints in Thousand Oaks on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said they conducted two DUI/driver’s license checkpoints. The checkpoints were conducted at Hillcrest Drive west of Lynn Road between Saturday at 9 p.m. and 12:10 a.m. Sunday and Avenida De Los Arboles east of Kensington Avenue between 12:30 a.m. and 2:35 a.m.
In addition to the DUI arrest, 14 people were cited on suspicion of operating a vehicle either without a license or driving with a suspended or revoked license, officials said.
Police also cited 22 drivers for various vehicle code violations, authorities said.

As they lay stinking in their booze-ridden smoky clothes in their jail cells, I would encourage the star and law enforcement to publicly release their names in order to begin the humiliation they so deserve. Then we could google them and spend countless days embarrassing them.
