The Ventura County Clerk and Recorder’s east county satellite office has expanded its hours.
Located in the Thousand Oaks clerk’s department in city hall, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., the office is now open Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., county Clerk and Recorder Mark Lunn said this week.
Previously, it was open Tuesday and Thursday.
The office, which opened as a pilot program in August, issues marriage licenses and processes fictitious business, name filings, notary registrations and clerk certificates. It also records real property documents, and issues certified copies of birth, death and marriage records.
“The residents of eastern Ventura County deserve these important services we provide without having to spend the time and expense to drive all the way to Ventura,” Lunn said in a news release.
Wedding ceremonies will continue to be performed only in the clerk and recorder’s main Ventura office.
